Ronald H. Bors visited the museum yesterday and donated, among other things, an original 1940s era Comet Zipper kit. We have the Prototype Zipper in the collection, and an example of a later Zipper, but did not have the complete early kit until now.
Ron also shared his memories of working in Kern’s Hobby Store – and one of the store’s bags for handy carrying. Thanks, Ron, for making the trip and the donation!
