Take Flight: Now Flying!

The Museum’s first traveling hands-on exhibit is now open for business!  Take Flight!, on loan from the ScienceWorks Hands-on Museum in Oregon, is located in the brand new hands-on gallery and ready for kids of all ages to have a blast.

The exhibit encourages creativity and learning.  Visitors can fold paper airplanes and test their designs on airplane launchers, create a rocket and blast it off, and discover how forces interact and watch a short video on the history of flight.

A hoverport allows visitors to text their paper helicopters.

Museum staff have had a great time learning how the exhibit works and folding test airplanes and rockets.  We hope you have a time to come join us in the fun soon!

The cost of the exhibit is included in the regular admission price to the museum.  The exhibit will be here until July.

There's a lot going on in the new gallery!Visitors can watch a video, and discover how forces interact with some interactive fun.
