This Vendetta Q40 Radio Control Pylon Racer, is the second in a series by Rusty Van Baren. Originally designed in 1995 and flown in 1996, Rusty set an open national record with the model the first time out, flying the course in 1:05.75 (minutes). Because this design was so much smaller than other pylon racers flying at the time, the Vendetta set off a flury of rule changes and clarifications, all of which Rusty had to adapt to in the model’s design – leading to the third model in the series, the Miss Ashley II. Thanks to Rusty and Barbara Van Baren for the donation!

So very glad to have my Vendetta accepted to the prestigious AMA museum. The airplane is still in production and doing well in competitions.
Happy to donate Vendetta to AMA prestigious Museum. The Vendetta/ Miss Ashley 2 is still winning 25 years later and flown by many accomplished pilots.
