Switching Hours

It is almost April 1st.  Besides being April Fool’s Day, April 1st is the day that the museum switches from its winter hours over to its summer hours.  Just to throw in some confusion, during the months that the museum is operating on the summer hours, there’s a few weeks when we are open longer for Nats.

So to be clear, here’s a look at what the museum hours are going to be:

Monday, April 1-Sunday, June 23, 2013
Monday-Friday: 8am-4:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: 10am-4pm
(Monday, May 27 is Memorial Day and we’re open 10am-4pm.)

Monday, June 24-Tuesday, July 30, 2013
Monday-Friday: 8am-6pm
Saturday-Sunday: 11am-5pm
(Independence Day on Thursday, July 4 we’re open 11am-5pm.)
New!  The museum store is opening at 7am so you can shop before heading out onto the field (store is opening at 7am Monday-Friday only.  It will open with the rest of the museum at 11am on Saturday and Sunday).

Wednesday, July 31, to Thursday, October 31, 2013
Monday-Friday: 8am-4:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: 10am-4pm
(Monday, September 2 is Labor Day and we’re open 10am-4pm.)

Note, please, that these are the hours that the museum is open to the public.  Staff will continue to work regular business hours, so if you have questions feel free to call or email Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
