AMA Social Media Manager Lee Ray was on-site for the 34th Annual B-17 and Big Bird Fly-In at Bomber Field, in Monaville, Texas this past weekend. Throughout the years, this event has drawn thousands of Scale modelers from across the country to commemorate all warbird-related things, including the venerable B-17 bomber. AMA members braved the Texas heat to fly, share stories, and celebrate this annual gathering, including frequent Model Aviation contributors Chris Wolfe and Fitz Walker.
