Time just seems to fly by. The holiday season is just around the corner.
AMA clubs and members are always trying to find creative ways to promote model aviation and their club. Halloween is coming up and it is one of the few days of the year when young people show up on your doorstep. This year why not try attaching your clubs info to the treat.
Next up are Thanksgiving and Christmas and many towns have parades. Enter a parade float, which can be built on the bed of a pick-up truck or a small trailer. I’m sure you have seen pictures in Model Aviation. This is a great way to show off your models and advertise your club.
Don’t forget about AMA programs such as TAG, Camp AMA, and field grants. These programs plus a few others have application deadlines approaching. All the info is available on the AMA website.
2014 was another great year for AMA. Let’s make 2015 even better.
