21 March 2011. I glued the firewall, and now I can glue the bottom piece (3/32 plywood) and start gluing the block in the nose. At the same time, while the epoxy was setting, I cut first and then glued together, the 1/8 balsa cross grain pieces that will constitute the rear bottom of the plane. The wood is stiff and heavy (this does not hurt), and will require some clean shaping before gluing; I need to be sure the shape is perfectly symmetrical, as it will constitute a strong reference point for the entire fuse.
