Nats 2018 Exhibit Preview: 4x a Grand Champion!

Between 1960 and 1976, Robert K. Sifleet was Grand National Champion (as well as Open National Champion) at the Nationals four times. This summer visit the museum to see all of Bob’s Open National Champion trophies, as well as three of the four Grand National Trophies, and a few others from his collection.

This summer at the National Model Aviation Museum visit any day between Memorial Day to Labor Day to see 9 trophies from Bob Sifleet’s trophy collection.

The exhibit will also feature videos of Bob speaking about his Nats memories and experiences winning the trophies.

For those not able to make it to the museum to see the exhibit in person, a Fly By video featuring Bob will be posted to the AMA’s Youtube channel on May 25, 2018, and the exhibit will be shared online in blog posts over the course of July 2018. In addition, exclusive content from the interviews will be shared to the museum’s social media throughout the summer.

The trophies will be on exhibit in the museum’s main gallery from Memorial Day to Labor Day 2018.
