#PatchTuesday, February 2017, week 4

Jackets aren’t patches, but jackets can feature patches (or, at least, club logos)!  Here’s a look at three club jackets in the museum’s collection.  Happy #PatchTuesday!

Brown corduroy jacket with large winged engine logo for the Portsmouth Aero-Nuts stitched on back.
The original owner of this brown corduroy jacket had someone who loved them to embroider this logo onto the back of the jacket. Portsmouth Aero-Nuts, donated by Henry Dolph, 1998.18.01
This white jacket has the logo screenprinted ontot he back. The logo features a compass over a scale model airplane.
Jacket, Stunt Masters Precision Acrobatic Team of Indianapolis, IN, donated by Norm Randell, 2007.60.05.
At the center of this jacket is a large patch featuring a devil flying a model airplane.
Jacket, Staten Island Sky Devils, donated by Eric Friedrichsen, 2016.45.01.
