It’s a drone competition for everyone, with both beginner and advanced categories.

UAS4STEM is an awesome opportunity that allows youth participants to develop professional skills like teamwork, public speaking, time management, and troubleshooting. They also get to meet other young, passionate pilots/aviators from other teams. UAS4STEM is truly much more than a STEM competition.

But don’t take our word for it; you can hear about the competition directly from the competitors! Teams* were tasked with creating and filming videos about UAS4STEM as part of their final scores in both the preliminary and national competitions.

The Beginner Redstone Composite Squadron explain what UAS4STEM is and share videos of their successful flights.

The Corntographers highlight their responsibilities and show off their progress.

The Flying Nuggets showcase their Pyramid of Safety and Axolotl Drone Design Process.

The Advanced Redstone Composite Squadron share some tips, tricks, and things that work well for them.

The Bumblebees offer encouragement and advice for new teams.

*Although only 5 videos are highlighted in this blog, all teams are required to submit a video for the competition.
