Just in time for the busy flying season at the International Aeromodeling Center (IAC), several site improvements have been completed that will benefit members visiting the largest model aviation flying facility in the world.
Those benefits include numerous projects around the IAC and National Model Aviation Museum. Site projects include finishing the campground pedestals for camping on Sites 3 and 4, and filling cracks in the Site 3 runway.

A third pavilion has been erected at Site 4 that can accommodate large model aircraft and pitting. Also, a new runway behind the museum has been added for demonstrations and possibly a new flying site.

There are many other ongoing projects. The AMA Maintenance team is working hard on behalf of members to improve their IAC. Model aviation enthusiasts of all disciplines will find a first-class flying facility when visiting the AMA’s National Headquarters!
