The Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA) is conducting an opinion survey regarding the use of small unmanned aircraft systems including technologies such as multirotor, “drones”, First-person-view (FPV), autopilots, and aerial video/image recording as well as COMMERCIAL USE of sUAS. We would greatly appreciate a few minutes of your time. Your answers will be used for research purposes only and will be completely anonymous.
And the best part? You will have a chance to win a DJI Phantom Quadcopter!
Just complete the 10-15 minute survey and when you are finished you can enter for a chance to win.
By taking this online survey, you will be helping the AMA and the sUAS community better understand the unique needs of this area of model aviation.
If you need to stop before completing, just save this email and click the link again. Your progress will be saved and you can complete the survey at your convenience.
Thank you in advance for your time.
Sincerely,
Jeff Nance Barry Elk
Director of Marketing Researcher

New technology is here….AMA must embrace it. OF COURSE, there are already those that will abuse it and that is HALF the problem already. They have caused the privacy hysteria of late. AMA still has “members” that denounce any aircraft made with foam and that has electric motors…as not “true builders” and violating the “core values” of AMA. The new technology appeals to YOUTH and that is what AMA needs if there will be an AMA in 10-15 years.
