Aerial Cinematography Production Conference

Aerial Cinematography Production Conference

If you’re interested in aerial cinematography and want to evolve your knowledge and skills, make sure to check out the Aerial Cinematography Production Conference July 26, 2014,  in Burbank CA. The conference will showcase several talented and accomplished cinematographers, provide behind the scenes information on acquiring content, and Lucien Miller will be on hand to educate and entertain everyone with his impressive knowledge of multi-rotors and technology. AMA’s Government and Regulatory Affairs Representative Rich Hanson will provide an overview of the UAS regulatory environment and updates on FAA’s Interpretive Rule addressing the “Special Rule for Model Aircraft”. Rich will remain on site throughout the day to address questions.

Charles Eide, cinematographer and founder of Fly Safe Training, will attend and discuss his UAV Education series and how you can participate. Fly Safe is not only responsible for training and certifying UAV pilots all across the country, but is very active in supporting legislation that benefits our community. You’ll want to be present for this to hear about a training series coming soon! Horizon Hobby will be participating and demonstrating their line of helicopters and multi-rotors. They offer turnkey solutions to get you started learning in your own living room and graduating into larger air ships with integrated gimbal systems to capture some stunning video. AbelCine sales agents will also be all the new and exciting information about aerial-friendly cameras and accessories coming fresh off of Cine Gear, including the Panasonic GH4.

If you have not attended an event in the past, this is one to start with. For those of you that have participated in previous events, this reboot of the series will focus on flight demonstrations, more detailed information on electronics and telemetry, and access to broader spectrum of talent on hand to answer all your questions.
