Congratulations to the McIntosh Aeronautics team of Peachtree City, Georgia, on winning the UAS4STEM Nationals on August 17! The Sato Dragons team of Long Beach, California, took second, and the St. Mary’s Civil Air Patrol team of Hollywood, Maryland, finished third. Lucila Zurita was the recipient of the Dewey O. Broberg Scholarship. The contest took place at the International Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana. Ten teams competed in the contest. These teams qualified for the national contest by winning regional contests held across the country.
