I attended the Toledo Swap Meet & Expo, and one of the AMA tables included a representative from Grouper. I was somewhat amazed by the number of members who had no idea what Grouper is about. With that in mind, I felt that it might be a good thing to reiterate our AMA Members-Only Discount Exclusive Offers that the AMA staff has developed for us, the members.
I’ll start with Grouper, because it is what brought up the topic. Grouper is for members who are over 65. Not everyone qualifies for this; however, many Senior members can earn $75 each year just for signing up. Grouper works with Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplement plans to cover your AMA membership dues. Many medical insurance companies want you to be active and involved with healthy activities, and will pay for you to do so. It is free to sign up and costs you nothing more than a bit of time.
