Central Saanich model air show raises $24,000

Victoria’s Largest Little Airshow raised more than $24,000 in two days.

Organizer Mike Scholefield says the turnout of fans to the Victoria Radio Control Modelers Society (VRCMS) event Aug. 10 and 11 was excellent, enabling the group to split the cash, giving just more than $12,200 to both the Saanich Peninsula Hospital Foundation and CFAX’s Santas Anonymous.
