The 2024 AMA National Fun Fly (NFF), presented by Du-Bro, was held June 28-30, 2024 at the International Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana. This was the largest turnout so far for the annual event, even with a few hours of rainy weather. This year’s event was dedicated to recently passed longtime member and former AMA Executive Director Bob Underwood.
The 2024 NFF was a celebration of model aviation. Combining a traditional fun-fly with a community day, the event fostered a renewed spirit among pilots and emphasized nurturing and inspiring the next generation of aviators. Attendees enjoyed open flying, hands-on activities, such as building Free Flight airplanes, RC boats and cars, rocket building, and more.
