The Take Off and Grow program is a grant that helps club host an event to introduce aeromodeling to their local community. There is money available for each Vice President to award to their district. Each club can receive up to $1000.00 for their event. The clubs must fill out the application detailing their event and how they would spend the money. The winners are chosen for each district in April and the funds are awarded. This is a great opportunity for clubs to hold an event to get their community involved. The funds can be used to purchase club trainers to buddy box, advertising, or signage for the event. Many of the clubs who applied in 2014 will be hosting their events in conjunction with National Model Aviation Day in August. The deadline for the 2015 application is February 1st 2015.
