Throughout middle school, John Owsinski dreamed of getting his 1963 blue and yellow string plane into the air. He remembers staring up at the gift from his uncle in his garage where the plastic box was gathering dust. He never did get it to fly.Owsinski ended up spending his career surrounded by jets and planes, and chooses to spend his retirement in a similar fashion.
