The AMA Model Aviation Hall of Fame has been honoring members since 1969. Each year, members are nominated by family and friends before being evaluated by AMA on developmental and administrative accomplishments, volunteering efforts, and participation in competitions.
Announcements of AMA Model Aviation Hall of Fame inductees will be made in January or February on www.modelaircraft.org. Sponsors and inductees are notified before the general public. Presentation of the awards will be made at appropriate model aviation-related events at the approval of the recipient.
