The AMA Foundation was founded in 2013 with a mission of supporting AMA’s goals of promoting the safe operation of model aircraft, fostering innovation and creativity in aviation design, and providing a welcoming community for aviation enthusiasts. Since then, the AMA Foundation has worked to inspire young people to pursue their passion for aviation and STEM education through various programs and initiatives.
