EAA, formerly known as the Experimental Aircraft Association, has nearly 1,000 chapters across the country devoted to full-scale sport flying. AMA, with 2,400 clubs, and EAA are now actively seeking chapter and club collaborations, particularly through the EAA Young Eagles program.

This is a great collaboration! I will point out though, that the EAA is STILL the Experimental Aircraft Association. Hopefully “formerly” was meant to be “formally” in the blog post.
EAA is not formerly known, but is STILL known as the Experimental Aircraft Association. Looking forward to working with our local AMA clubs this year! Flying models is what started it all for me.
