AMA clubs continue to support the next generation of engineers and pilots by providing flying space for collegiate teams competing in the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics (AIAA) Design/Build/Fly (DBF) competition.
This winter, students from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign DBF team gathered at the Champaign County Radio Control Club (CCRCC) flying field in Champaign, Illinois, to prepare for the AIAA national competition in April.
