AMA has been honored to be a member of the FAA Drone Advisory Committee (DAC) and welcomes the DAC’s new members. Over the past four years, AMA was successful in advising the DAC on several matters of importance including controlled airspace approvals, Remote ID, waiver processes, and promoting a safe operating culture. AMA would like to thank and congratulate its fellow DAC members for taking these matters into serious consideration and for helping to plan for and craft the future of the unmanned aircraft industry.
As the DAC shifts to address more commercial applications and other industry advancements, AMA will continue to lead and participate in DAC subcommittees, task groups, and work groups to promote our common core mission of safety, innovation, and growth.
