On November 16-22, 2020, AMA will participate in the FAA’s Drone Safety Awareness Week. Drone Safety Awareness Week will engage UAS users and other stakeholders to help educate the public about drone operations and safety. AMA has scheduled events during the week for our clubs and the public to attend virtually. After each event, a live virtual session will be held in which any comments and questions will be discussed.
- Monday, November 16 @ 12 p.m. EDT – Learn what you need to know before you fly.
- Tuesday, November 17 @ 2 p.m. EDT – Improve your skills.
- Wednesday, November 18 @ 7 p.m. EDT – Panel discussion with UAS and aviation professionals.
- Friday, November 20 @ 2 p.m. EDT – How to use drones in STEM education.
- Saturday, November 21 @ 1 p.m. EDT – Having fun.
