I would like to know if there is anything I can do in Lansing Mi. I am a precinct delegate in my district. I work directly with the International UAW as a photographer/reporter as well has hold an elected Position in the UAW. I am very active in politics and am in Washington a few times every year on UAW business.
Joseph… AMA’s Government Relations Team is working to identify and evaluate each piece of UAS legislation being introduced and we can certainly use you help in keeping an eye on the Michigan Legislature and being watchful for any proposed legislation the may be detrimental to model aviation. In areas where potential detrimental impact on model aviation is identified, AMA could also use your help in addressing our concern with the sponsors of the bill(s) and other members of legislature.
In order to react as quickly as possible we need your help in making us aware and keeping us informed. The AMA is asking all its members to remain vigilant about any potential legislation and report this to AMA’s Government Relations Team.
Thank you for your interest and support.

So are we just to be kicked out when we went in frist and worked with the farmers to have a place to fly and so if you then have a nice enuff place to fly then some bully with an airplane that a man can get in take over.
Doyle… I don’t think that is what’s necessarily meant by “not interferring with manned aircraft”, but in regards to your example, I would say the use of the site is really up to the landowner (farmer).
