Gwen started as the Education Development Coordinator at the Academy of Model Aeronautics in October 2022, Prior to working at the AMA, she worked as an elementary school teacher in first grade, third grade, fourth grade, and sixth grade. She is responsible for developing and updating model aviation training curriculum and activities that meet state and national standards. The FAA/AVS STEM Career Symposium is a virtual, nation-wide event that is designed to educate middle school to college-aged students about careers in aviation and STEM Education, as well as encouraging them to explore and pursue these career fields.
