Here at the International Aeromodeling Center in Muncie, Indiana, we’re beginning to prepare for our 2022 Camp AMA program! Last year marked our return to an in-person Camp experience and we can’t wait to continue this year. Camp AMA is the perfect opportunity for high school-aged (13-17) aeromodelers to get together and share in their love of our favorite hobby!
Camp AMA features world-renowned instructors with decades of experience ranging from fixed-wing to rotary-wing to the highest levels of model aviation competition. They are here to answer questions, share their experiences and provide clear and exciting guidance for how model aviation can not only be a hobby, but a promising pathway to a rewarding and fascinating career!
Camp AMA’s activities include engineering challenges, some competitions of our own, demonstrations, and the opportunity for campers to build and fly freely with one another, sharing their own experiences and building the kind of friendships and networks that last a lifetime!
Camp AMA for 2022 is scheduled for the week of June 12-18 and will be held on-site at the IAC in Muncie. Lodging and meals are included in the Camp tuition, but while we will have several models on hand, campers are allowed and encouraged to bring along any equipment they deem necessary to have the best experience possible.
