The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District is sponsoring the inaugural South Suburban R.C. Air and Water show from 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 11, according to a news release.
Remote-controlled boats, planes and helicopters will buzz around Dolphin Lake, at 183rd Street and Governors Highway in Homewood.
Flying and aerobatic demonstrations will be provided by the Suburban Aero Club of Chicago, Model Masters and Palos R.C., which serve the south and southwest suburban Chicago area and are Academy of Model Aeronautics-chartered clubs.
