The AMA Model Aviation Experience simulation trailer, powered by Wing, was a big attraction at the fifth annual Carl Hopkins Youth Aviation Expo, held on August 8-9 in Bridgeport, West Virginia. More than 200 attendees got an opportunity to “try the sticks.”
A local TV station was on hand to provide coverage, as well as Victoria Yeager, the wife of aviation icon Chuck Yeager, and former Model Aviation Aeromodeling Editor and prominent Control Line (CL) Precision Aerobatics pilot Bob Hunt, who put on a flying demonstration.
The event received help from the Flying Wing Nuts AMA club of West Virginia and other AMA members.
