Title

A BILL FOR AN ACT to amend the Indiana Code concerning

criminal law and procedure.

Synopsis:

SB20 makes it illegal for a person to knowingly or intentionally use an UAS to monitor a person, property, or thing without the written consent of the subject. Images or communications obtained through the use of a UAS are not admissible as evidence. Makes it illegal for a person to possess an image or communications obtained through the use of a UAS. Prohibits the use of public money to purchase a UAS.

SB20 provides an exclusion for recreational or hobby purposes.
