Tulsaworld.com – Art activities, an Indian festival and a model airplane fly-in event are on the calendar this week.
The Tulsa Glue Dobbers, a radio control model airplane club, will hold its annual WarBirds Over Tulsa fly-in Friday through Sunday at Grant Wilson Field, 2817 S. 177th East Ave. The event will feature model warbirds of all sizes, types and vintages. The event typically draws about 50 pilots from the area and surrounding states and features more than 100 airplanes. Admission and parking are free, and food and drink concessions will be available. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and 9 a.m. to noon Sunday.
