Club Officers: Is your club ready for the flying season?

The March 31 deadline for clubs to renew their annual charter status has come and gone and there are nearly 400 clubs that have not submitted their renewal documents for the 2015 charter year.

Life becomes busy and sometimes things slip through the cracks. Perhaps that’s what happened to your club renewal. No need to panic! If you are paying by MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card, simply fax the forms to (765) 286-3303, or email the forms to expedite the process.

You’ve misplaced the forms? We can help. Send us a brief email and we will forward the appropriate paperwork to you. Or you can use the forms in the Club Chartering Guide to get the process started. Please note that this is a PDF document that will allow you to enter information and either print or email the completed form.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact the Safety and Member Benefits Department at (765) 287-1256. Please note that we currently experiencing a high volume of phone calls. When you call we may be on the phone assisting another club with its renewal process. We greatly appreciate your patience and promise that if you leave us a message, we will call you back as soon as we can!

Did you know

Your charter status provides liability coverage to your club as an entity? It also provides primary liability insurance coverage to club officers related to their duties as officers. The insurance industry calls this the “vicarious liability” for the acts of others or flying accidents caused by others.
