The Franklin County Radio Control Club kicks off its annual Father’s Day event a day early. Partnering with the Turner Falls Airport visitors will be able to admire vintage and unique full-scale airplanes on Saturday, June 15. In addition to a parachute drop by Jumptown, a skydiving company, there will also be opportunities to try your skills on an aeronautics flight simulator, sponsored by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, as well as airplane rides in a 1940 Waco airplane.
