For the Converse County Flyers it’s a passion

For some, it’s their newest obsession. For others, a life’s passion. It’s their love of flying, and while they may not be sitting in the cockpit, the adrenaline rush is there all the same.

That thrill is the inspiration for one of Converse County’s newest clubs, the Converse County Flyers, AMA Club 5087. Their group has really been taking off since their inception in April earlier this year, and following a successful meet and greet of local and national groups this past weekend, shows no signs of slowing down.

So if you’re looking for a new hobby, or even a new skill set, swing over to the Douglas Volunteer Fire Hall every first Wednesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. and meet the crew. They’ll have you up in the air in no time.
