Members of the Vienna Sky Sharks, Blennerhassett Area Radio Control Club and Flying Wing Nutz Club in District III will fly their radio control aircraft in formations and with aerobatic emphasis at this year’s 2012 Air Show at the Mid-Ohio Valley Regional Airport. The event, scheduled for October 14, 2012, has already caught excitement, being feature in the News and Sentinel in early June.
These clubs have been participating in the event more many years, and this year will even be bringing a flight simulator for attendees to try flying. Mark Radcliff, AMA District III VP says in the article, “It will be a fun and educational thing free-of-charge to everyone,” Radcliff said. “It’s not just for the kids, either.”
