Release Timeline – Ready Now

Over 25 years of steady growth, “Dayton” (formerly known as the Midwest Modelrama) now fills the entire 42,000 sq ft Montgomery County Fairgrounds with 350 tables over 2 days.   The event is hosted by the Dayton Wingmasters AMA#499

It all started 25 years ago in an 80-table union hall, the show was very quickly moved to Hara Arena, then to the Dayton Convention Center, then to the old fairgrounds.  In 2020 the Montgomery County Fairgrounds moved, and the event followed.   Excellent free parking and a clean fresh facility filled with everything you’ve come to expect.  The event finishes up the Friday / Saturday show with a live auction.  On-site camping is even available. The Dayton leadership team is dedicated to preserving a low cost / high value trade show for our hobby in the state of Ohio.  Dayton enjoys a huge 90-minute market drawing not only from Cincinnati, Columbus, Indianapolis, Louisville Lexington but also many come from states as distant as New York, Georgia, Florida and even Texas!   A vendor from California attended the 2023 event.   

2024 show dates are Friday and Saturday April 26 & 27.  Friday hours 9 to 2pm, Saturday 9 to end of Auction, usually around 3pm.    The Montgomery County Fairgrounds is located at 645 Infirmary Rd – Dayton, OH 45417.   Set up both days begins at 7am.   Large vendors with multiple tables can set up on Thursday by appointment.
