You\u2019ve been modeling a long time.\u00a0 Over the years, the model airplanes, pictures, old flight equipment and club t-shirts have built up and are currently piled in your garage.\u00a0 You\u2019ve got more modeling stories than you can remember.\u00a0 What\u2019s going to happen to all of it next year, in five years, twenty-five years?\u00a0 \"Books,<\/a><\/p>\n

In order to help modelers keep their\u00a0treasures to last, and to recognize that model aviation\u2019s history matters, the museum is\u00a0participating in\u00a0National Preservation Week<\/a>. \u00a0Created in 2010 by the American Library Association\u2019s <\/a>sub-group Association for Library Collections and Technical Services<\/a>, Preservation Week<\/a> focuses attention on the need to protect and care for our individual and cultural heritage by preserving the things in our life that matter.<\/p>\n

Monday through Friday, April 22-26, 2013, there will be a daily\u00a0post to the National Model Aviation Museum blog<\/a> with information on how to care for the long-term needs of the special artifacts and memories you own.\u00a0 Provided information will include easy-to-follow advice for people at any income bracket. Here\u2019s the schedule for the week:<\/p>\n

\nFriday, April 26, 2013:\u00a0 Preserving equipment and memorabilia<\/a><\/p>\n
