{"id":620,"date":"2013-03-07T15:56:07","date_gmt":"2013-03-07T15:56:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amablog.modelaircraft.org\/amamuseum\/?p=620"},"modified":"2013-03-07T15:56:07","modified_gmt":"2013-03-07T15:56:07","slug":"museum-recommended-by-the-fai","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amablog.modelaircraft.org\/amamuseum\/2013\/03\/07\/museum-recommended-by-the-fai\/","title":{"rendered":"Museum Recommended by the FAI"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Academy of Model Aeronautics\u2019 National Model Aviation Museum was approved as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fai.org\/fai-slider-news\/36492-national-model-aviation-museum-to-join-the-fai-recommended-museum-program\">F\u00e9d\u00e9ration A\u00e9ronautique Internationale Recommended Museum<\/a> during the 106th FAI General Conference in Antalya, Turkey last year.\u00a0The museum is one of three museums that have been recognized by the FAI in the United States.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fai.org\/ciea-projects\/fai-recommended-museum-program\">FAI Recommended Museum Program<\/a> exists to recognize worthy and notable museum collections of an aeronautical nature, which are used to further the education of the public\u2014 particularly children\u2014 in the history and practice of air sports, aeronautics and astronautics, and\/or commercial or military aviation.
