\u00a0You\u2019re invited to a free\u00a0party welcoming back to Muncie\u2019s National Model Aviation Museum the 1\/40-scale test models<\/a>\u00a0sent along with NASA\u2019s Shuttle Carrier Aircraft <\/a>as it brought the Space Shuttle Endeavour <\/em>to Los Angeles.\u00a0 Also returning to the museum after a loan to The Children\u2019s Museum of Indianapolis are five NASA\u00a0research models used to explore ideas of how\u00a0humans could travel to –\u00a0and return from –\u00a0space.<\/p>\n

To celebrate these models, the party will involve hands-on games and activities, as well as speakers, story time, snacks and door prizes.\u00a0 A special thanks to the Muncie Astronomy Club<\/a>, Rocketeers of Central Indiana<\/a>, Muncie Public Library<\/a>, and Toys Forever Models & Hobbies<\/a> for joining us in these activities.<\/p>\n
