100s"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mceTemp\">In the July 2012 issue of <em>Model Aviation<\/em>, we asked if anyone would be interested in donating a Jetex 100 or 200 motor to complete a reconstruction of the Zephyr Free Flight endurance model airplane built for the collection.\u00a0 At the time, the museum collection had no examples of either type of motor.\u00a0 Thanks to the generosity of two modelers, we are now the proud owners of two Jetex 100 motors.\u00a0 One has been installed on the Zephyr, completing it so it can be placed on exhibit.\u00a0 The other is being id=\"caption-attachment-349\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Both Jetex 100 motors donated, together with their original boxes and other components.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Geoff Barrance donated his, which came with him when his family immigrated from England in 1986.\u00a0 The motor\u00a0still has the original box and instructions, but not the rest of the components.\u00a0 It is in rough shape, but when installed on the Zephyr model, the slight corrosion isn\u2019t noticeable.\u00a0 Museum volunteers used the drawings in the motor\u2019s instruction booklet to fabricate a mount to properly learning that the museum was interested in obtaining a Jetex 100, Pedro Restrepo searched eBay to see if one was for sale.\u00a0 After finding one, he successfully bid for it and after receiving it promptly sent it on to the museum for the collection.\u00a0 This motor is in the original box, with all the original components (although the fuel pellets and wicks were removed before shipment because of safety concerns) and is in good condition.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_353\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-353\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a
