The exhibit celebrating the centennial of the first national model airplane competition is now complete at the National Model Aviation Museum.<\/p>\n

Exhibited with the Villard Trophy is an exhibit panel on the life of Henry S. Villard, on loan to us courtesy of the Allen Airways Flying Museum<\/a>\/Claudia and Willis Allen of La Jolla, CA.<\/p>\n

The panel contains several inset documents related to Villard’s life, including his Aero Club of America member card and a pencil drawing he did of a flying field in Naples, 1912.<\/p>\n
