Thanks to Joel M. Levine we now have two more clubs, the West Jersey Radio Flyers and the Central Jersey Radio Control Club, represented in the museum’s collection.\u00a0 Joel was a member of both clubs in the early 1960s before he decided to focus on full scale aviation.<\/p>\n

The West Jersey Radio Flyers is still an active club. In the 1960s their logo featured a flying radio transmitter.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

This bright red shirt has the logo for the Central Jersey Radio Control Club on the back.\u00a0 Sadly, the Central Jersey Radio Control Club is no longer active.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

By the way, Joel reports that he’s recently become active again in model aviation.\u00a0 Thanks, Joel, for helping to grow the museum’s collection!<\/p>\n
