We have updated the club finder on our website to reflect which locations have been granted FRIA status, as well as added an option to search for FRIA-approved clubs within a certain mile radius. We will continue to update our records as we receive FRIA approvals from the FAA. Please let us know if your flying site has received its FRIA approval and the website doesn\u2019t reflect this information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a reminder, the FAA has extended the <a href=\"https:\/\/amablog.modelaircraft.org\/amagov\/2021\/01\/01\/summary-of-faas-final-rule-on-remote-id\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Remote ID<\/a> enforcement date by six months. Radio Control Operators now have until <strong>March 16, 2024,<\/strong> before they will have to comply with the rule. This extension provides the FAA more time to approve FRIA applications and manufacturers the time for production of broadcast modules.
