AMA is honored to have been invited and accepted an invitation to be part of the FAA\u2019s UAS Detection and Mitigation Aviation Rulemaking Committee (ARC). As a member of the ARC, AMA will help make recommendations to the FAA on how to best integrate counter-UAS technologies across the United States while preserving the safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System. AMA looks forward to attending the first meeting on May 23-25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The ARC has been chartered by the FAA Administrator as part of Congress\u2019 request to develop a plan for the certification, permitting, authorizing, or allowing of the deployment of UAS detection and mitigation systems regarding the FAA Reauthorization Act of 2018.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
