The mission of the bipartisan caucus will be to educate Senators and staff on the capabilities and concerns of UAS and to work closely together to best shape the UAS policymaking\u00a0 process.<\/p>\n<p>Senator Inhofe was the primary sponsor in the introduction of the amendment that created the &#8220;Special Rule for Model Aircraft&#8221; in the FAA reauthorization bill. The bill ultimately passed last February as the FAA Modernization and Reform Act of 2012.
