As you may know, a federal court of appeals struck down the FAA\u2019s registration requirement for recreational model aircraft in May. More information about this decision is available on the <a href=\"https:\/\/amablog.modelaircraft.org\/amagov\/2017\/05\/19\/faa-registration-requirement-struck-down\/\" target=\"_blank\"><u>AMA Government Affairs Blog.<\/u>\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The registration fee refund ($5) is available to everyone who operates under the Special Rule for Model Aircraft, including AMA members, and to those who did not already receive a refund during the initial grace period.<\/p>\n<p>In order to receive this refund and have your information deleted from the FAA\u2019s database, please print and fill out this<a href=\"https:\/\/www.faa.gov\/uas\/getting_started\/registration_deletion\/media\/FAA_Registration_Deletion_and_Refund_Form_Instructions_FINALv2.pdf\" target=\"_blank\"> <u>form<\/u><\/a> on the FAA\u2019s website and mail to the address below.
