Not sure how to update your information, or unsure of what you could be missing? Keep reading:<\/p>\n<p>This is one of the most important times in the history of aeromodeling. Faced with an impending NPRM (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.modelaircraft.org\/aboutama\/gov.aspx\">Notice of Proposed Rule Making<\/a>), the AMA Government Relations team has been hard at work to represent you when dealing with the FAA, and to keep everyone updated on the process. Although the battle has been long, the AMA is determined to stay strong and to provide the best possible support to all AMA members. Regular updates are available on government relations on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.modelaircraft.org\/aboutama\/gov.aspx\">government relations section of the website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>For breaking news about AMA and the aeromodeling community, it is very important that AMA has your current email address. Each month, the popular e-newsletter, <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">AMA Today<\/span>, is sent out to all members with a working email address. If you have not received this publication, please verify your email address.<\/p>\n<p>Also note, the AMA uses a new service provider, Exact Target, to send our email communications. If you have ever selected the \u201copt out\u201d option, you will be taken off the full email list. Please contact the AMA if you have done this, and would like to be put back on our list to receive this publication and other important AMA updates.<\/p>\n<p>Ready to update your information?<\/p>\n<p>Option 1. Call us at (800) 435-9262 &#8211; 1-800-I-FLY-AMA to speak with one of our friendly membership support specialists. We are here for you Monday-Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM EST.<\/p>\n<p>Option 2.\u00a0 Update your information online, visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.modelaircraft.org\">www.modelaircraft.org<\/a> and follow these easy steps:<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>Login to the website, then click your name at the top right of the website. This\u00a0will take you to your profile. There you will be able to change your email\u00a0address, street address, phone number, and privacy settings.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>If you have never signed up for the \u201cmembers only\u201d section of the website, this is the perfect opportunity. Follow these easy steps to sign-up and update your information.<\/p>\n<ol start=\"1\">\n<li>\u00a0Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/www.modelaircraft.org\/login.aspx?cookies=tested&amp;RedirectURL=%2faboutama%2forganization%2fpage.aspx%3fcontentid%3ddef2f8a1-47b7-4a4f-bf9c-7d658b9e5d1b&amp;https=false\">www.modelaviation.org<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Select the option to\u00a0sign up for a new account.<\/li>\n<li>Fill-in the required\u00a0information and select \u201cregister\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>You will then be\u00a0registered, and need to \u201clink\u201d your account.<\/li>\n<li>Simply click on your\u00a0name, now at the top right hand side of the screen.<\/li>\n<li>This will take you to\u00a0a screen where you can select \u201clink membership\u201d.<\/li>\n<li>Once you have\u00a0completed this you are officially enrolled on the member\u2019s only site and\u00a0can log-in at your convenience to view the exclusive portions of the\u00a0website, and make updates to your account easily.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>By selecting \u201cuse my information for AMA Business Only\u201d you have signed-up to receive \u201cofficial AMA news,\u201d including <span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">AMA Today<\/span>, our monthly e-newsletter publication. As the NPRM approaches, the AMA is asking all AMA members to update their information so that you will receive all official news and information in a timely cost-effective fashion.
