TOWN OF BYRON — Teams of cadets are being trained this week in Fond du Lac to fly remote-control airplanes in preparation for future military careers in aeronautics.
Lt. Col. Randall Carlson from the Civil Air Patrol (CAP) California Wing and retired from the U.S. Air Force, is leading students at Wellnitz Field remote-control airfield off Hickory Road in the town of Byron.
