HighViz RC now manufacturing Robart parts!

Hi all! It is that time again. It was still early spring as I wrote this, so there wasn’t much flying yet. It was swap meet season! I had to miss the gathering in McMinnville, Oregon because I was sick, but I did get to the Toledo R/C Swap Meet & Expo in Toledo, Ohio, and will attend the one in Monroe, Washington.

I want to start with a short bit on an RC equipment supplier. As you all know, Robart Manufacturing has exited the landing gear business. The good news is that HighViz RC has picked up all of the Robart parts and rights to produce gear and supplies.

I met jordan and Larry Peterson at their booth in Toledo and was impressed with what I saw and heard. I needed a set of wheels for my newest P-47. I ordered them on Friday. Larry made them that night and delivered them to me on Saturday morning. Here is a picture of the booth and one of my wheels.

This is a remarkable story about the passion that some of our members have to continue this hobby. Larry and Jordan are working hard to get products ready and get a website up and going. You can find them on Facebook and order items via messenger for now. Please give HighViz RC your support!

Here are a few more pictures of the show. I wish we had something this big in District XI!

We will have to work on it.

Associate Vice President Joe Miller was at the McMinnville swap meet in Oregon. He reports that it was a good event with lots of happy swappers.

Remember, the AMA Northwest Jamboree is June 20-22. We are going to have a wonderful time. Please join us!

That’s it for this month. Keep building and flying.
